International Polo in the Washington DC region has been a historic and diplomatic tradition since 1923, first patroned by President Harding.

An International Celebration & undisputedly Washington DCs highest profile polo & social event/experiences combines the excitement of horses with the sport polo and the social fun of the summer….. sunshine, wine, beer, the outdoors, people watching, live entertainment, Rockin the Runway live fashion show, politics and the social scene….and all on the breathtaking DC National Mall overlooking the Washington Monument & the Lincoln Memorial. The Polo match attracts thousands of people who enjoy the event in a variety of options with ticketing & corporate hospitality available at all price points. On Saturday, children 16 & under are FREE with a ticketed adult. Families are warmly welcomed.

When the United States hosts COSTA RICA  in 2011, the polo grounds will be the site of a spectacular convergence of cultures. Among the Americans and International Guests in attendance, you’ll find a day of fun in the sun, with friends, familys, visiting dignitaries, elected representatives, Military exhibitions, fashion lovers, horse fanciers, polo fans, and music devotees, all with one thing in common. The International Polo Challenge celebrates the relationship between each country, opening a new chapter for this exciting game whose earliest written accounts date back more than 2,500 years. Originally Polo was used by the military as a means to train officers to determine their ranks prior to World War II.

The Celebration will be enjoyed by Thousands of supporters and fans for the upcoming International Polo Cup, which will once again bring a day full of surprises, musical talent and festivities on stage at this years festivities
